Chris Bellamy, CPA

Chris works with all manner of investment companies, including mutual funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and investment advisers. His easy-going manner and attention to detail make him a key member of his clients' advisory team. In addition to assisting clients with their compliance requirements, Chris has completed a number of special projects including agreed upon procedures and consulting engagements. Chris is also active in the firm's training, staff development and recruiting activities.

A member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, Chris was a founding board member of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club which is a non-profit organization created to retain young professionals in Greater Cleveland by providing events focused on both personal and professional development. Chris also volunteers his time to many local not-for-profit groups and has served as Co-Chair of the planning and fund-raising committee for the Working for Empowerment Through Community Organizing Fund Annual Golf Outing.

Chris graduated from Ohio University in 1999 and received the School of Accountancy Young Alumnus of the Year award in 2004. He lives with his wife, JoAnne, and sons, Evan and Owen, in Avon Lake, Ohio. A member of the firm's softball and flag football teams, he also enjoys playing golf and is an avid Cleveland sports fan.
