Kerry Gubics, CPA
Audit Partner

Kerry is a Partner in the Accounting and Auditing Services Department where the majority of his time is spent on audit and management advisory services for his clients. He leads the firm’s Not-For-Profit Services Group and has extensive experience in issues specific to those organizations. As a result of Kerry’s technical knowledge of accounting standards, he also carries substantial review responsibility for the firm as Co-Technical Director. He also serves on Cohen & Company’s Board of Directors.

Kerry is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, where he chaired the State Committee on Management of an Accounting Practice. In the community, Kerry has been active in the Citizens League and the annual United Way Campaign. He also works with a number of high schools in the area of career counseling in public accounting. Past community activities include membership in the Cleveland Jaycees and the Big Brothers of Greater Cleveland.

Kerry graduated from Cleveland State University in 1972. Running and pistol shooting, as well as spectator auto racing are among his outdoor hobbies. Kerry lives with his wife, Suzanne, daughters, Alyssa and Kathryn, and son, Alec, in Westlake, Ohio.
