Audit Partner

Pat serves as Co-Technical Director for both Cohen Fund Audit Services and Cohen & Company. Her duties include supervision and planning of audit and review engagements, as well as special projects for clients, including litigation support, accounting systems reviews, internal controls reviews and acquisition reviews. Additionally, Pat is a lead Partner in providing auditing and consulting services to our not-for-profit and government clients.

Her extensive technical knowledge has led to Pat’s appointment to the Auditing Standards Board of the AICPA and the Task Force to Study Financial Reporting for Private Companies. She completed a four-year term on the AICPA’s prestigious Technical Issues Committee and is a former member of the Auditor of State’s Regional Advisory Board. Pat is a member of the Government Finance Officer’s Association, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. She also serves on the American Trucking Association’s National Accounting and Finance Council, the Accounting Advisory Council to Kent State University, and the Audit and Corporate Responsibility Committee of HM Health Services.

Pat is a 1975 graduate of Bowling Green State University. An avid runner, Pat and her husband, Alex, and their sons, Ted and Brian, live in Kent, Ohio.
