Peggy McCaffrey, CPA
President and Audit Partner

During her 20 year career, Peggy has enjoyed serving a variety of clients. Prior to the founding of Cohen Fund Audit Services, Peggy spent 13 years at Cohen & Company working with the firm’s broker-dealers, investment companies, broadcasting companies and other privately-held businesses. She also spent four years working at a specialty hedge fund and broker dealer CPA firm in the New York area and was a corporate Auditor for a publicly traded fortune 100 company. Peggy’s professional affiliations include membership in the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. She is also active in the Investment Company Institute.

Peggy’s dedication and vision has helped Cohen Fund Audit Services more than double its original client base. People are an important part of her equation for success, and she stresses integrity, honesty and caring in the development of the firm’s staff.

A graduate of the University of Akron, Peggy, her husband, John, and their children, Michael and Mary Kate and their English bulldog Edgar, reside in Lakewood, Ohio. She enjoys cooking, swimming and spending time with her children.
